Bad Krozingen is a town in southwestern Germany at the edge of the Black Forest. The town is located in the tri-border region of Germany, Switzerland and France which are all within easy travelling distance. The town is known for its spas with its adjacent extensive park and high-tech rehabilitation clinics. Bad Krozingen has a relaxed, holiday-like atmosphere. Green spaces intersperse with restaurants, shops cafés, museums and galleries, which can be reached by a stroll along the extensive pedestrian zones. A river runs through the centre of the town flowing through the park which offers additional space for recreation, walking, and events.
Bad Krozingen offers various cultural and historical attractions, such as the Litschgi House Museum, which showcases artefacts of local history, giving glimpses into the daily life of medieval, Celtic and Roman settlements. Historical sites, such as St. Alban church and the remains of a Roman villa and cellars, provide more tangible evidence of this past. Visitors can explore the medieval Glöcklehof as well as the more recent Schloss (castle) with its historical musical instruments.
